Job summary

Amgen in Washington, DC is seeking a Health Policy & Reimbursement Director to lead federal payment policy strategy across one or more therapeutic areas and the biosimilar portfolio.

You will work cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Commercial, Medical, Development, Regulatory, and Law, engage with HHS and CMS, review policy proposals, and influence federal health policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 7+ years OR Bachelor’s with 9+ years.
• Deep understanding of the Federal (US) payer environment including coverage, coding, and reimbursement.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and national health programs.
• Experience with HHS and CMS plus strategic staff engagement across agencies.
• Demonstrated communication skills for interactions with senior executives.
