Guidehouse is seeking a data science professional to lead real-world data analyses for federal health policy and surveillance. You will develop models, build scalable pipelines, and collaborate with epidemiologists and clinicians to translate findings into actionable insights for public health strategy.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a related field, with 2+ years in health data science, proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and experience with SAS and geospatial tools.

Competenze

• Masters degree in Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or STEM field.
• 2+ years of health data science and epidemiology experience analyzing real-world data (RWD).
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in SAS; SAS to R conversions preferred.
• Geospatial analysis with QGIS/ArcGIS or similar.
• Experience with statistical modeling, ML and data visualization.

Mansioni

• Lead quantitative analysis and modeling of real-world data to generate actionable insights for federal public health.
• Lead analyses to estimate chronic disease population-level prevalence and incidence using real-world data.
• Design, implement, and refine ML and statistical models for surveillance and research purposes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for large-scale health datasets using R, Python, and SQL.
• Utilize DataBricks and Snowflake for scalable data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, clinicians, and public health experts to interpret findings and inform CDC policy and strategy.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and publications for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and reproducibility across analytic workflows.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
