Job summary

Axle, a bioscience and information technology company, seeks a Grants Management Specialist to support NIH programs in Bethesda, MD. The role covers the full federal grants lifecycle from pre-award to closeout, including financial monitoring, compliance, and reporting.

Required are at least five years in federal grants management, plus experience with SF-424, budgets, and NIH-related policies. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of federal grants management or grants administration experience required
• Three (3) or more years of finance, accounting, or grants financial management experience preferred
• Experience with pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout activities

Responsibilities

• Provide grants management and administrative support to satisfy NIH objectives across the full federal grants lifecycle
• Support pre-award, award, post-award, financial monitoring, compliance, reporting, records management, and closeout activities
• Enter and maintain award information in NIH grants management systems and establish electronic grantee files
