Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to support the U.S. Department of Transportation by consolidating and improving its grants system. The role focuses on post-award grants management, process improvement, and senior-level client collaboration across stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead client deliverables, coach junior staff, and manage schedules, risks, and budgets in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with federal grants post-award highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality client deliverables.
• Serve as SME in post-award federal grants management, including monitoring, compliance, reporting, and closeout.
• Coach and provide QA to junior staff.
• Identify, analyze, and improve business processes.
• Facilitate client meetings, work groups, and interviews.
• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Produce detailed status reports for programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to keep projects on-time and within budget.
