Job summary

Old Harbor Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Federal Government Budget Analyst I to support a federal client. You will provide budgeting expertise and assist in developing budget requests, with oversight of obligations and fund costing.

The ideal candidate has US citizenship, 5 years in budget analysis, and strong MS Office skills. A BA in Business Administration or related field is required, and familiarity with government budgeting systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Five years of directly performing duties as a Budget Technician or Budget Analyst.
• Experience in budgeting and finance systems comparable to the government.
• Federal Government experience, preferably with Department of Energy or Environmental Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Effective writing and communication skills to prepare reports and summaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget support to our federal client
• Mastery of principles, practices, and procedures related to all aspects of the Federal budget cycle, including providing guidance to program managers in the development of budget requests and related documentation, and exercising budget controls through review and tracking of the obligation and costing of funds

Requirements
