Job summary

Old Harbor Solutions is seeking a Federal Budget & Financial Specialist with DoD or Federal Government experience to support our Cincinnati, OH client base. The role focuses on budget cycle management, documentation, and fiscal control, working with program managers to prepare and review budget requests and funding obligations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in federal budgeting, finance systems, and MS Office, plus the ability to write clear reports.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship.
• Ten (10) years directly performing duties as a Budget Technician or Budget Analyst.
• Experience in federal budgeting and finance systems.
• Federal Government experience, preferably with Department of Energy or Environmental Management.
• Microsoft Office (including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Effective writing and communication skills to prepare reports and summaries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget support to our federal client.
• Mastery of principles, practices, and procedures related to all aspects of the Federal budget cycle, including guidance to program managers in developing budget requests and related documentation, and tracking of funds.
