Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a General Surgeon for a locum assignment in northeastern Arizona. The position requires an active unrestricted license, willingness to travel, and ability to perform general surgical procedures including endoscopy.

Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with potential call, and the traveler will receive paid travel and lodging arrangements through Medicus. This opportunity offers exposure to leading facilities and comprehensive support from our team.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• Ability to perform general surgery and endoscopy.
• Willingness to travel for locum assignments in northeastern Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage as General Surgeon.
• Perform colonoscopy/EGD, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy as needed.
• Manage common surgical cases and post-operative care during assignment.
