Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a General Surgeon for a locum contract in northeastern Arizona. The assignment runs Monday–Friday with options for 7:00–15:30 or 8:00–17:00 and call coverage.

The role involves performing colonoscopy/EGD, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy among common cases, with travel and lodging provided and full malpractice coverage. Licensing support is available.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state medical license required.
• Board certification in General Surgery preferred.
• Experience in hospital-based locum coverage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular General Surgery coverage Monday–Friday as scheduled.
• Perform colonoscopy/EGD, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy.
• Handle inpatient and outpatient surgical cases and call coverage as required.
