Job summary

Transportation Security Administration seeks Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial aviation from terrorism and other threats. You will work on domestic and international flights, conduct investigations, and advise on security measures while maintaining firearms proficiency for federal duties.

Qualifications

• Requires problem solving, planning, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent mix of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial flights from terrorism and other threats.
• Work discreetly on domestic and international flights.
• Carry and maintain firearms proficiency as required for federal duties.
• Conduct law enforcement, investigations, and advisory activities.
• Interview witnesses or suspects as needed.
