Job summary

Aalis Management Consulting in Washington, DC seeks a Financial Analyst to support federal budget formulation, execution, and management reporting for a high-visibility federal organization. The role includes budget tracking, procurement payments, reconciliations, and performance reporting.

The position requires a Public Trust clearance, 3+ years federal experience, and strong Excel skills. The work arrangement is onsite initially, with at least two onsite days per week and up to three telework

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Demonstrated experience with reconciliations, financial analysis, and customer-facing reporting.

Responsibilities

Support budget preparation, formulation, execution, and closeout activities.
Prepare and track procurement requests, payments, and related financial documentation.
Perform reconciliations and validate invoices and financial transactions.
Develop financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and management-ready status information.
Track funding, spending, and burn trends and identify potential variances or issues.
Coordinate with program, financial, and acquisition stakeholders to resolve financial management actions.
