Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Defense and Security segment, focused on financial management modernization and data-driven decision making. This role handles data from multiple sources, builds dashboards, and collaborates with financial and technical teams.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to client needs while contributing to reporting efficiency and performance visibility across federal programs. A Public Trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
• 1+ years in data analytics, data engineering, BI, or related projects.
• SQL querying and data manipulation experience.
• Python or similar analytics language for data analysis.
• Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms experience.
• Dashboards/reports using Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and federal compliance.
• Experience integrating datasets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Access financial data sources, establish connections, and pre-process data.
• Aggregate, clean and organize datasets from disparate sources.
• Perform QA on datasets.
• Manipulate large financial data with SQL and Python to reveal patterns and insights.
• Design data models and run ad hoc analyses for budgeting and performance.
• Ensure data governance, integrity, and quality for reliable reporting.
• Define data quality metrics for Databricks ingested data.
• Organize client meetings, agendas, minutes, and action item tracking.
• Deliver client services while supporting business development and internal initiatives.
