Job summary

SJS Executives is seeking experienced Electricians for an upcoming contract in Montgomery or Tuskegee, Alabama, supporting maintenance operations at two federal medical facilities. You will be assigned a primary location, with secondary support as needed.

The role requires at least 3 years of electrical experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare settings, with the ability to read drawings and interpret technical docs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Must pass a drug test and background check for access to a military installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and modify electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and associated equipment within federal facilities.
• Install secondary power distribution systems, electrical panels, conduits, cable trays, and branch circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial multiphase electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, emergency warning systems, lightning protection systems, and thermocouple sensors.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, equipment failures, and hard-to-locate electrical problems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all federal safety regulations and facility procedures.
