Job summary

GenesisConsulting seeks an experienced Senior QA/QC Manager and Testing Lead to oversee QA processes and testing for ERP implementations within the federal government sector.

You will lead a team of testers, ensure compliance with FISMA and SDLC, and coordinate with government clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep ERP understanding, and the ability to transform quality assurance practices across complex federal programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as QA/QC Manager or Testing Lead in ERP implementations within the Federal Government space.
• Experience supporting 3+ full lifecycle ERP implementations and/or major releases with automated test tool usage.
• Deep knowledge of ERP technologies, including travel and expense solutions.
• Strong understanding of federal regulations (FISMA/SDLC) and testing frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53).
• Proven leadership in test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC strategies, policies, and processes for ERP solutions that meet federal requirements and best practices.
• Plan for User Acceptance and System Integration Tests, create test data, and perform test executions.
• Lead testers and QA professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship; coordinate testing activities and responsibilities.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for ERP implementations (functional, integration, system, performance).
• Oversee test execution, monitor progress, manage defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver defect-free ERP solutions.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and implement tools/frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Coordinate setup and maintenance of test environments that mirror production, addressing environment-related issues.
• Provide high-quality analysis, ensure timely deliverables, and motivate the team; report testing metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with FISMA/SDLC and other regulations; communicate testing progress to business users and project managers.
