Job summary
GCyber is seeking a Software Tester/QA Analyst to validate applications, automated workflows, data solutions, and system integrations for a federal customer. Strong manual testing is valued; test automation is welcome but not required.
Applicants should meet DoD clearance and baseline certification requirements and have 3+ years of testing experience. Responsibilities include creating test plans and cases, performing diverse testing types, validating data and dashboards, and ensuring release
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Current DoD 8140/8570-compliant baseline certification such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, or other approved credential
- U.S. citizenship
- Three or more years of relevant testing experience (software, data validation, or related)
- Experience developing/executing test cases and defect tracking/retesting
- Understanding of software delivery/testing lifecycles, requirements, acceptance criteria, traceability, and release readiness
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria; develop/maintain test plans, cases, procedures, and data
- Perform functional, workflow, integration, regression, system, data, interface, and UAT testing
- Validate business rules, data transformations, dashboards, APIs, and end-to-end mission processes
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, retest, and verify defects with stakeholders
- Maintain requirements traceability, testing evidence, results, metrics, and release-readiness information
- Support test-environment prep, test-data management, deployment validation, troubleshooting, and quality process improvements
