Applied Environmental is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist to support a federal facility in Arlington, Virginia. This full-time role is onsite three days per week and focuses on environmental compliance across permitting, reporting, and inspections.

Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field, with about 5+ years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Approximately 3–6 years of environmental compliance experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support environmental compliance programs at a federal facility.
• Manage air permitting (Title V, NSR, NESHAP) and related reporting.
• Coordinate stormwater, RCRA hazardous waste, and wastewater programs.
• Prepare and review permit applications, reports, and data submissions.
• Interact with regulators and facility staff to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance systems and track performance metrics.
• Support site inspections, data calls, and internal audits.
• Create technical briefings, memos, and presentations.
