Melville Johnson, P.C., a small Atlanta firm, seeks a licensed Associate Attorney to join its Federal Employment Litigation Team. You will gain hands-on experience with federal employment matters and direct client contact in a collegial small-firm environment.

The role offers guidance from senior attorneys and opportunities to work on EEOC, MSPB, OFO, OSC, and OPM matters. Eligible for a flexible schedule and remote work after probation.

Competenze

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask under deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Mansioni

• Bill 1,560 hours per year.
• Direct client contact and full-cycle litigation management for EEOC, MSPB, OFO, OSC, and OPM matters.
• Draft memoranda, complaints, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and other filings.
• Take and defend depositions; negotiate settlements.
• Conduct hearings in person, telephonically, and via video conference.
• Advise clients regarding their employment matters.
