Job summary

Steampunk, Inc. seeks a Power Platform Solution Architect to design, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for federal clients.

You will act as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 architecture, configuration, customization, and integration, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant systems. Collaborating with government stakeholders, program leadership, developers, and analysts, you will guide solution design, oversee data migration and system integrations, support testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Expertise in at least one Dynamics 365 module (CE/CRM, F&O, or Power Platform).
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, configuration, and customization decisions.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with government stakeholders to translate business needs into Dynamics solutions.
• Design, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 modules.
• Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, plugins, Power Automate flows, and custom entities.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and interoperability between Dynamics 365 and other federal systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, Section 508).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and functional analysts.
• Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Document system design, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
