Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Design Project Manager for the Government and Civic market, primarily serving Federal clients (USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC). The role sits in the Design Management Department of the North America Places group.

The successful candidate will lead cross-disciplinary teams, ensure QA/QC, monitor budgets and schedules, and act as the primary client interface to meet federal requirements while driving design delivery. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the federal market sector with leadership of large multi-discipline design projects.
• Strong budget, client management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing multi-discipline designs using digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Implement QA/QC processes across design development.
• Manage budgets, scope, costs, and schedules to meet targets.
• Act as primary client interface and present design decisions.
• Develop execution plans and workflows using digital platforms.
• Drive on-time delivery and manage change/risk within controls.
• Coordinate across architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations with focus on federal standards.
