Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Design Project Manager for our Government and Civic market sector in Novi, MI, to lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliant, high-quality design outcomes for federal clients. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client interfaces across projects and contribute to pursuits and fee proposals.

Applicants should have 10+ years in the federal market, 5+ years leading large teams, and a strong financial background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal market experience; 5+ years leading large multi-discipline design and construction projects.
• Strong financial background for projects and client management.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing drawings and multi-discipline designs on digital platforms.
• Knowledge of Autodesk platforms such as ACC or BIM.
• CPM certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire; training provided.
• BA in Architecture or Engineering-related fields.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, cost-controlled outcomes.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, scope, and change control across projects.
• Interface with federal clients, presenting decisions and ensuring objectives and requirements are met.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and design delivery workflows using digital platforms.
• Ensure on-time delivery of milestones and coordinate across architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, technical documents, and presentations with a focus on federal standards.
• Support pursuit strategies and fee proposals for federal design projects.
• Provide leadership as a seller-doer, aiding delivery and business development.
