Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking a Design Project Manager for our Government and Civic market sector, with a strong emphasis on leading multidisciplinary design teams to deliver compliant, high-quality projects for federal clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, and AFCEC.

This role resides in the Design Management Department of the North America Places group and requires US citizenship. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client interfaces while leveraging Autodesk ACC/BIM tools to ensure successful

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the federal market sector.
• Min. 5+ years' experience leading large multi-discipline design-engineered solutions and construction projects.
• Strong financial background related to projects and client management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that are clear and concise.
• Experience reviewing drawings and multi-discipline designs on digital platforms.
• Experience with Autodesk platforms: ACC or BIM.
• Obtain CPM certification within 30 days of hire; training provided by the company.
• BA in Architecture or Engineering-related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, cost-controlled projects.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed throughout design development.
• Manage project budgets, scope, and forecasting to meet financial targets.
• Serve as primary client interface; lead reviews and present design decisions.
• Develop detailed execution plans, schedules, and workflows using digital platforms.
• Drive on-time delivery and manage change, risk, and scope within controls.
• Coordinate across architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations compliant with federal standards.
• Support pursuit strategies, fee proposals, and business development activities.
• Provide leadership as a seller-doer within project delivery teams.
• Travel up to 20% including overnight stays.
