Job summary

ECC is seeking a licensed Architect or Professional Engineer to lead the delivery of complex federal design-build projects across the United States and worldwide. The ideal candidate will have 5–15 years of design experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to guide multidisciplinary A/E teams.

This role emphasizes expanding beyond traditional disciplines while remaining deeply connected to the design process and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RA or PE registration.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible design experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines and leading design efforts.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary subcontracted A/E teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the design management lead on complex federal design-build projects.
• Help guide projects from proposal development through final design and construction support.
• Support a diverse portfolio of federal projects including facilities, infrastructure, utilities, airfields, waterfront and shipyard developments, industrial facilities, site improvements, and other mission-critical programs.
• Apply technical expertise, broaden leadership skills, and work alongside experienced design and construction professionals on projects that have a lasting impact.
• Other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned.
