Job summary

Parallel Works is hiring a Defense Sales Lead to create pipeline and run capture across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Our defense business includes a platform authorized at Impact Level 5, prototype other transaction work, task orders with military service laboratories, and delivery as a subcontractor under large integrators.

This is a full cycle role: identify the program, build the program office relationship before a solicitation exists, assemble the team, drive

Qualifications

• 10+ years selling technology or technical services into the DoD/IC with awards sourced and closed.
• Fluent in Federal acquisition processes: full and open competition, prototyping OT, and BOAs.
• Ability to engage with program offices before solicitations and manage capture activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a defense pipeline from program office relationships, industry days, and partner introductions.
• Lead pre-solicitation engagement, respond to sources sought, and position for requirements.
• Run capture plans, manage teaming, and produce compliant volumes on schedule.
• Position ACTIVATE as a hybrid capability across on-prem HPC and cloud, with a unified accounting model.
• Develop teaming with integrators and mission primes and forecast pipeline progress.
