Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science professional to deliver solutions for Federal clients in the Washington, DC area. The role leverages Python, SQL, LLMs, and Databricks to build AI-powered products and dashboards.

You will automate workflows with Power Automate, communicate findings to leadership, and collaborate directly with clients to translate requirements into actionable plans. Remote, hybrid, or on-site work in the DC metro is supported.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET or higher security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 2 years of Data science, data engineering or data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
• Experience in querying and wrangling data using SQL.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience utilizing Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
• Experience performing analytics and data engineering in a cloud environment, such as Azure or AWS.
• Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and design solutions for Federal clients.
• Develop products using Python, SQL, LLMs, and Databricks.
• Automate processes with Power Automate when appropriate.
• Translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and drive initiatives forward.
• Support RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
