KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Specialist to join its Federal Advisory practice in St. Louis. The role focuses on building data pipelines, analytics, and ML workflows across diverse projects, with a strong emphasis on delivering scalable, production-ready solutions.

You will work with Python, SQL, and Spark-based tools, leveraging Databricks and AWS services to support client engagements. A U.S. Government Secret clearance is required to begin work.

Qualifications

  • Three years of data engineering/analytics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • End-to-end data pipelines, warehousing, and analytics with Databricks and AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
  • Hands-on data engineering, cloud architecture, or related work focusing on AWS and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop code to prepare, extract, and enrich data from structured and unstructured sources.
  • Create production-grade data pipelines and ML pipelines deployable at scale.
  • Translate analytics problems into technical approaches with actionable recommendations.
  • Support teams in developing client analytics solutions using analytics, wrangling, and ETL.
  • Provide oversight and quality control over analytics solution development.
  • Prepare data for analysis (cleansing, integration, transformation).
  • Lead client discussions on analytics value, methodologies, and outputs.
  • Develop documentation and guides for analytics usage and maintenance.
