Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Lead Specialist for our Federal Advisory practice in McLean, VA to lead cross-functional teams in designing and delivering ML/data-science solutions for federal clients. You will work with clients to understand requirements, ingest data, and develop data-driven products and dashboards that turn complex data into actionable insights.

The role requires 5+ years of technical data science experience, strong programming skills, cloud familiarity, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of technical data science experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence techniques to achieve business goals.
• Proficiency with analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Alteryx, SQL; data visualization tools such as Tableau / QlikView.
• Experience developing Deep Learning models (e.g. CNN, RNN) and their applications (object detection, language modeling) and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Fast.ai).
• Experience leveraging cloud services or Cloud Certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, AWS ML, Google Cloud, Azure AI).
• Experience building AI pipelines, ML development lifecycles, MLOps and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX).
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
• Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards, UI, and interactive tools to turn data into actionable insights and reproducible reports.

KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multi-disciplinary / cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, design / develop machine learning, and data science solutions
• Utilize processes / best practices to plan, lead, and execute delivery of artificial intelligence engagements
• Work with clients to understand business requirements, design solutions utilizing data analytics solutions, and work with data engineers to develop / utilize ETL process to ingest structured / unstructured data
• Leverage a variety of data sources such as social media, internal / external documents, images, video, financial data, and operational data to develop cutting-edge data-driven products
• Design / perform explanatory data analysis, develop, manage, and execute data analytics experimentations
• Build / manage production-ready data science product lifecycles, continuous delivery and automation pipelines (MLOps), orchestration / model management in cloud environment; cluster large amount of user generated content / process data in large-scale environments using Amazon EC2, STorm, Hadoop, Spark, etc.
• Design / develop dashboards, UI and interactive tools to support clients to turn their data into actionable insights / reproducible reports
