Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a dedicated custodial professional to perform standard duties and respond to on-demand facility support needs, including customer service requests and emergency cleanups. The role supports a Federal Agency client in accordance with policies and procedures and upholds our RISE values.

Essential tasks include cleaning, spill response, event support, and daily upkeep of assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to decipher/comprehend signs indicating danger.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment such as a scrubber and extractor.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to work at assigned work site.

Responsibilities

• Performs all standard custodial duties and on-demand facility support.
• Responds to unscheduled cleaning requests and spills throughout the facility.
• Supports event setup, breakdown, and special service requests when needed.
• Maintains cleanliness in assigned areas and monitors high-traffic zones.
• Notifies supervisor of equipment and facilities needing repair or replacement.
