Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington is seeking a front-line supervisor for custodial staff in Washington, DC. The shift runs from 1:30pm to 10pm, and you will supervise the custodial team, ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to our RISE values.

You will recruit and train new staff, coordinate daily tasks, and conduct quality checks while being accountable for performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness in assigned areas of the facility.
• Supervises custodial staff weekdays and weekends.
• Orientates and trains new employees.
• Conducts floor care training and procedures.
• Performs cleaning duties (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash) and burnishing floors.
• Establishes daily staffing requirements and conducts inspections.
