Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Court Security Officer to provide protective services at Federal Court Houses under US Marshals Service contract. The role includes fixed-post, mobile, and foot patrols, enforcing post orders, and maintaining security logs.

Responsibilities include patrols, vehicle screenings, and potential courtroom security during hearings, with duties in all weather and high-alert environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass criminal background, drug test and physical exam.
• Must have valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Fluently read, speak, comprehend, and compose in English.
• Be free from felony convictions; no domestic violence misdemeanor convictions.

Responsibilities

• Enforce entry and identification systems at the court site.
• Patrol court facilities and grounds per post orders.
• Provide focused surveillance on incoming traffic to entrances.
• May provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel.
• Control access and monitor alarms and RFID systems.
• Log property movements and report unusual occurrences.
• Maintain all necessary licensing, certifications, and training for security duties.
• Coordinate with local, state or federal law enforcement when needed.
