Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Federal Contracts Administrator to own the obligation register, manage FAR/DFARS flowdowns, and interface with government contracting officers. You will operate SAM, PIEE, WAWF portals and ensure compliance across DoD programs.

Ideal candidates have NCMA certification, active clearance, and a track record in subcontractor management, pricing justification, and risk assessment on proposals. This role demands independent work and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of federal contracts or subcontracts administration on the contractor side.
• FAR and DFARS fluency, including flowdown matrices and applicability thresholds.
• Experience building a compliance register or calendar.
• DoD contract experience, including FAR-based awards or other transaction agreements.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the obligation register across every federal agreement.
• Run the compliance calendar, including training certificates, required notices and postings, and annual filings such as VETS-4212A.
• Review flowdowns on new subcontracts and agreements before signature and flag obligations.
• Onboard subcontractors on program context, systems access, security requirements, and operating expectations.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for committed scope, timelines, and deliverables, escalating when they slip.
• Serve as primary interface with government contracting officers and administrative officers on active contracts.
