Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of financial analysis and pricing experience in federal contracting, strong Excel skills, knowledge of FAR/SCA, and the ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, EACs, and competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the DMV area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of financial analysis, pricing, program finance, or related field; at least 2 years on federal contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR and federal cost/pricing principles.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, modeling).
• Strong ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve project budgets, monitor actuals, forecasts, burn rates, and funded value.
• Analyze financial performance with PMs and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries, variance analyses, and EAC projections.
• Assist the Controller with annual operating budgets.
• Develop cost proposals for federal solicitations (FFP, T&M, cost-reimbursable).
• Maintain pricing templates, rate tables, and historical cost data.
