Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Contract Manager, North America to review, draft, and negotiate commercial and federal government contracts. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to guide decisions, manage risk, and support audit-ready contract administration.

The role demands sound judgment, attention to detail, and an ownership mindset, with a focus on ensuring compliant, scalable contracting practices across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Experience with government contracts and applicable FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate customer-facing agreements to enable growth and manage risk.
• Lead contract review for U.S. federal, state, and municipal government customers.
• Coordinate required government contract clauses and subcontract flow-downs.
• Advise on federal contracting risks, compliance, audits, and data rights.
• Negotiate terms with customers and internal teams; ensure approvals per policy.
• Maintain and improve standard contract templates and playbooks.
