Job summary

TechOp Solutions is seeking a reliable, self-directed 1099 Recruiter to support our federal staffing needs. This independent contractor will source and engage candidates, manage a high-volume pipeline, and coordinate with Recruiting Leads to fill roles across TechOp’s contact center and customer service programs.

The ideal candidate has government contracting recruiting experience, outstanding communication, and the ability to manage priorities with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 5+ years of recruiting experience required.
• Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired.
• Experience handling multiple positions in a fast-paced env.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with job boards, HR software, and candidate databases.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet searches.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs.
• Manage full recruiting lifecycle for the contact center portfolio.
• Screen resumes, interview candidates (phone/video/in-person).
• Administer assessments, references, and hiring recommendations.
• Maintain candidate activity in the ATS; analyze pipeline health.
• Draft and deliver offers for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and security processes.
• Stay current with job boards and sourcing channels.
• Develop and refine recruiting strategies with leaders.
