Job summary

ASI Government in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-Level Contract Specialist/Administrator II to support the Federal Transit Administration. The role covers the full procurement lifecycle from planning and market research to award, contract administration, and closeout.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of federal acquisition experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience with at least five years of acquisition/contracting experience.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
• Experience supporting federal acquisition and contract administration activities.
• Experience with multiple contract types, including FFP, cost-reimbursement, Labor Hour, and T&M.
• Experience with IDIQs, BPAs, task/delivery/call orders, and purchase orders.
• Ability to independently analyze assigned work and provide useful feedback and recommendations.
• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition planning and market research.
• Assist with preparation of RFQs, RFPs, solicitations, and related acquisition documents.
• Review SOWs, SOOs, PWSs, and other requirements documents.
• Prepare and review pre‑procurement packages and maintain accurate status information.
• Assist with evaluation documentation and award preparation.
• Use Government acquisition systems and e‑Government tools to process and track acquisition actions.
