Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Federal Contract Closeout Administrator to drive end-to-end closeouts for government contracts, ensuring audit-ready files and compliance with FAR/DFARS.

The role collaborates with Program Management, Finance, Subcontracts, Legal, and Government Contracting Officers to resolve issues and finalize deliverables. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years in federal contracting, with 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 6+ years in federal contracting, procurement, subcontracts, or contract administration.
• 2+ years of experience in federal contracting, procurement, subcontracts, or contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end closeout activities for CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, and MT contracts.
• Support process improvements to streamline closeouts and build tools.
• Coordinate reviews of final cost data, indirect rates, deliverables, and releases-of-claims documents.
• Assist with subcontract closeout challenges and propose solutions.
• Create and maintain audit files per government requirements and GDIT procedures.
• Draft and negotiate subcontract modifications for closeout activities.
• Support funding de-obligations and closeouts with Finance.
• Assist with subcontract post-award administration and closeout actions.
• Maintain knowledge of closeout procedures and best practices.
