Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Contract Administrator 1 in Englewood, CO to manage federal contract pricing and contract administration across the full life cycle. You’ll prepare federally compliant cost proposals, rate schedules and ensure adherence to FAR and client requirements.

You’ll collaborate with the Project Manager and team, develop labor rates, templates, and reporting, while upholding high standards of accuracy, communication, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; years of experience may substitute.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracting requirements.
  • Experience with government contracting regulations, FAR.
  • PowerBI experience highly desired.
  • Ability to collaborate across levels to maximize performance.
  • Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the full life cycle of contract support with low to moderate risk under supervision.
  • Prepare routine contract activity and templates as needed.
  • Provide proposal pricing including labor rate development and required documents.
  • Coordinate with supervisor on issues and resolutions.
  • Apply contracting concepts and enforce requirements for client contracts.
  • Coordinate with all parties involved in contracts and proposals.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

This position will be responsible for federal proposal pricing and contract administration of federal client contracts. The position will work with the Project Manager and other team members to prepare federally compliant cost proposals and rate schedules and manage other contractual requirements through the life of the contract.

In the role of Federal Contract Administrator 1, we'll count on you to:
  • Administer the full life cycle of contract support with low to moderate risk to the corporation under the direction of a more-senior contracts professional
  • Perform routine contract activity, which may require development of contract templates
  • Provide proposal pricing to include labor rate development and compilation of financial and other required documents
  • Work with supervisor on significant issue identification and resolution
  • Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
  • Coordinate closely with all parties involved
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired, but years of experience may substitute for degree A minimum of 3 years of contracts or related experience.
  • Due to client contract requirements US Citizenship is required.
  • Experience with government contracting regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • PowerBI experience highly desired.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externally to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving.
  • Have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, often within highly demanding time frames.
