Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a field-driven Superintendent/SSHO/QC Manager for a 5-month federal renovation project at Columbus AFB, MS. You will oversee EM 385-1-1 safety compliance, quality control, and daily field operations while coordinating subcontractors and ensuring schedule adherence.

This 1099 contract requires leadership across safety, quality, and construction execution, with responsibilities spanning risk management and project documentation until closeout.

Qualifications

• EM 385-1-1 Certification is required.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• CQM for Contractors Certification is required.
• Previous Triple Hat Experience (Superintendent / SSHO / QC Manager) is required.
• Experience on Federal, Military, USACE, NAVFAC, Air Force, or DoD Construction Projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Superintendent, SSHO, and Quality Control Manager for the duration of the project.
• Provide daily oversight of construction operations, subcontractors, and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Lead daily safety meetings, inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Review and approve Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans.
• Monitor quality control processes and verify compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and maintain project schedule objectives.
• Manage project documentation, inspections, testing requirements, and closeout activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
• Maintain daily reports, QC documentation, safety records, and project logs.
• Act as the primary field representative for safety, quality, and construction execution.
• Promote a proactive culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and project success.
