Job summary

RJS Construction Inc. in Washington state is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead commercial building projects from ground-up to completion.

You will coordinate site activities, supervise trades, and ensure safety standards while interfacing with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in commercial construction, experience with new builds and remodels, and the ability to pass government background checks for federal sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Construct new buildings and remodels; Journeyman carpenter.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk long durations; valid driver’s license.
• Experience with government/federal construction and safety-minded supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hold weekly progress meetings with the project team.
• Follow a master schedule and mirror progress with a 3-week look-ahead plan.
• Communicate with Owner/owner's rep, architects, engineers, inspectors.
• Organize and conduct safety meetings on site.
