Job summary

Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation, LLC seeks a Construction Superintendent (Federal) to manage on-site operations at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA. You will coordinate daily field activities, supervise crews, and ensure safety and contract compliance from mobilization through closeout.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee scheduling, inspections, and coordination with design teams and subcontractors while maintaining project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role on commercial, federal, or military projects.
• Experience with vertical construction, renovation, and/or design-build; USACE/NAVFAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities.
• Lead and coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, and materials to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Develop and maintain the schedule in coordination with the Project Manager and Quality Control Manager.
• Monitor progress and implement actions to maintain production and safety.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
