Job summary

Emerson Construction Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager to support USACE construction projects. You will lead the Contractor Quality Control program to ensure all work complies with contract requirements, specifications, and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on QC planning, inspections, and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and USACE QA staff, plus robust documentation in RMS/QCS, and decisive action on non-conforming work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction QC experience on federal projects.
• USACE CQM for Contractors certification required.
• Experience with RMS/QCS and ability to read/interpret plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the USACE Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan.
• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Coordinate quality activities with project teams, subcontractors, and USACE QA staff.
• Maintain QC documentation, reports, and corrective actions in RMS/QCS.
• Identify and resolve non-conforming work.
