Job summary

Conti Federal Services is seeking a Project Engineer to join our field team in Tucson, AZ. The role supports the project team and field management to deliver safe, quality construction while meeting budgets and profitability targets.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Primavera, HCSS, JD Edwards and Expedition software. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field with three or more years of experience.
• Experience with project start-up meetings, sub-contractor buyouts, owner estimates and cost-to-completes.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety procedures and ensures compliance among personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supports quality personnel and project through the Quality Management System.
• Develops construction means with the Superintendent to optimize safety, cost, and schedule.
• Manages foremen's daily reports and updates budgets for owner changes.
• Oversees subcontractors and attends coordination meetings to update schedules and drawings.
