Job summary

GoldenWolf is seeking a motivated Construction Project Engineer (Junior) to support a major federal construction program at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) in Richmond, Kentucky. This position supports the construction of a 170,000-square-foot Small Arms Ammunition Magazine and associated facilities as part of a multi-year $35 million U.S.

Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project. The selected candidate will work alongside government personnel, contractors, and project leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of construction management, administration, project engineering, or contract administration experience.
• Knowledge of commercial, industrial, or federal construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Richmond, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform quality assurance inspections and field surveillance activities.
• Review contractor submittals, schedules, quality control plans, and safety plans.
• Support contract administration and construction documentation efforts.
• Track RFIs, submittals, change requests, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and change management activities.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items.
• Review contractor pay applications and progress reports.
• Assist with preparation of government estimates and contract modifications.
• Support commissioning, final inspections, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide status updates to project leadership.
