Job summary

RS&H is seeking a Project Engineer - Federal Construction Management in Key West, FL to support federal building and facility construction projects. You will assist in planning, coordination, documentation, and execution while serving as a liaison among federal clients, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, a PE license, US citizenship, and hands-on experience with project documentation and CM software such as eCMS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• U.S. Citizen.
• Experience managing project documentation and communication systems on construction projects.
• Hands-on with CM software like eCMS, Kahua, Procore or similar.
• Experience with federal, military or secure facilities construction.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and document management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of federal building and facility construction from planning through closeout.
• Manage project documentation, correspondence, reporting, records management, and communication systems.
• Use CM software to manage project workflows and documentation.
• Coordinate with federal clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Review schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Track project actions, deliverables, and project controls activities.
• Support QA, contract administration, risk management, and compliance activities.
• Prepare status reports, project correspondence, and meeting documentation.
• Support commissioning, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.
• Assist in resolving project issues and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
