Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a senior professional to plan, direct, and manage Federal construction projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate with contractors and government stakeholders, review documents for FAR compliance, and lead site inspections and progress meetings in a field-heavy environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 8 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel. Candidates with CCM, PMP, or PMI-CP credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage all phases of Federal construction projects to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate activities of contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Federal government client’s construction branch and project stakeholders.
• Review construction documents to ensure alignment with FAR, standards, and codes.
• Lead pre-construction conferences, design/progress meetings, on-site inspections, and closeout activities.
• Ensure activities comply with Federal safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Track performance metrics, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
