Job summary

The Building People is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to deliver on-site federal projects, managing facilities and construction from planning through completion.

Responsibilities include space upgrades, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with GSA, A&E firms, and suppliers. Telework may be limited to customer requirements; a TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in commercial/government facility construction project management interfacing with GSA, A&E firms, suppliers and trades.
• Understanding of construction methodology and scheduling.
• Experience developing government project cost estimates and tracking funding.
• Ability to develop project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera P3-P6.
• Ability to direct facility construction activities and run progress meetings.
• Ability to review, store, and print AutoCAD documents electronically.
• Experience on commercial/government projects with a significant portion of systems furniture.
• Able to pass a suitability background investigation and obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage an assigned portfolio of construction projects for federal clients.
• Handle space acquisition, budgeting, cost management, scheduling, and estimation.
• Oversee construction, space reconfiguration, tenant outfitting, project administration, and program management.
• Coordinate logistics, furniture, and building upkeep for client facilities.
