Job summary

Actalent in Dumfries, VA seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of federal and commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. You will develop comprehensive project plans, oversee budgeting, subcontractor engagement, and risk mitigation, and coordinate with leadership, stakeholders, and field teams throughout each project lifecycle.

The role requires managing change orders, schedules, and financial reporting, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Federal PM experience managing large projects (>$20M).
• Experience in federal construction projects for a general contractor.
• CQM certification or equivalent site clearance for badge access.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration activities including change orders, procurement, schedules, and financial reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of contract terms and involved parties for each project.
• Create and manage long- and short-term project plans with milestones and deadlines.
• Delegate tasks to team members to maximize efficiency and outcomes.
• Make timely decisions to progress projects and coordinate multi-team efforts.
• Serve as primary contact for teams to ensure coordinated actions and clear communication.
• Ensure safety practices are followed and site conditions meet standards.
