Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Representative to support DoD projects at F.E. Warren AFB near Cheyenne, WY.

You will monitor construction activities, verify schedules, and help manage subcontractor performance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years on large federal construction programs, and experience with RMS 3.0 and USACE safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; construction degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years on large federal construction projects, DoD/USACE preferred.
• Experience using RMS 3.0, preferred.
• Experience with three-phase inspection process.
• Experience with OSHA and EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes and investigates construction phases for compliance with schedules, specs and shop drawings; identifies problems and recommends changes.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports in RMS, monitoring progress, safety issues and subcontractor manpower.
• Assists in contract modification processes and in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules and safety/quality programs.
• Prepares correspondence regarding contractor performance, RFIs and REAs.
• Prepares partial and final payment estimates with quantity measurements and materials verification.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays; coordinates with designers and technical experts on RFIs and submittals.
• Logs and maintains data to assist with project management and decision making.
