Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced estimator to drive detailed quantity takeoffs and robust bids for federal and institutional projects in a dynamic public-works environment. You will analyze complex RFPs, coordinate sub-solicitations, and produce reliable hard-bid and conceptual estimates.

With 4+ years in commercial or public works estimating and mastery of leading estimating tools, you will help shape project budgets and win strategies while collaborating with senior leadership and project teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dedicated commercial or public works estimating experience.
• Expert-level understanding of public bid processes, unit pricing, and subcontractor networks.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Center, Bluebeam, WinEst).

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for public and federal projects.
• Analyze public/federal RFP requirements and compliance.
• Manage sub-solicitations, compile hard-bid and conceptual estimates, participate in value engineering sessions.
