Job summary

Kaizen, a New York–based government‑tech company, is building a dedicated compliance function to manage federal contracts and certifications. This role focuses on FedRAMP, DoD impact levels, NIST 800-171, and RMF, with hands‑on work in control implementation and continuous monitoring.

You will own the obligation register, calendar, and POA&M entries, coordinating with internal teams and external assessors to ensure SPRS readiness and agency compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience submitting in federal portals (SPRS, PIEE) and handling SPRS.
• Performed NIST 800-171 RMF self-assessments end-to-end.
• Can explain SPRS mechanics, 110-control basis, and POA&M impacts.
• Worked with FedRAMP or 20x certifications and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SPRS package and FCL readiness materials.
• Assemble certification materials including machine-readable package.
• Maintain POA&M entries and evidence mapping.
• Coordinate with agency, customers, and assessors.
