Washington, DC-based Neros Technologies seeks a Federal Communications Manager to lead relationships with defense-focused think tanks and journalists, shaping government messaging and policy engagement.

You will work with Marketing to craft campaigns, white papers, and events aimed at Congress, the Pentagon, and the Executive Branch, translating technical concepts into accessible narratives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in federal communications within Congress, executive branch, or defense related journalism.
• Understanding of the U.S. defense ecosystem, including DoD procurement, congressional appropriations, and national security policy.
• Strong existing relationships with think-tanks and national level journalists.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical issues into compelling narratives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience building brand messaging for government audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to build relationships with defense think tanks and journalists who influence Congress, the Pentagon, and the Executive Branch.
• Partner with the Marketing Team to build the Neros brand through messaging campaigns, social events, and white papers for government audiences.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear, persuasive narratives for government stakeholders.
