Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect WWPS for AWS WWPS Civilian SA - VAR to drive cloud adoption for Department of Energy Labs in the Western United States.

You will own technical engagements, define architectures, and lead security-minded solutions across AWS services with the support of a sales team. The role requires 8+ years in relevant domains, up to 30% travel, and US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Associate's degree or above, or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP.

Responsibilities

• Helping U.S. Federal Civilian Government organizations implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems.
• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
